"In 'Elevated Elegance, An Aerial Encounter with Beaumaris Bay,' I draw upon my personal connection to the Bayside area, specifically Beaumaris Bay. In my youth, I frequented Beaumaris, where my cousins resided, fostering cherished memories of the area. Also inspired by my grandmother, an artist, who grew up in Mentone and often painted Beaumaris and Rickets Point, I embarked on a journey to capture its essence through art. Delving particularly into images of the Beaumaris Motor Yacht Squadron, I was captivated by the interplay of shapes and perspectives from above. This aerial abstraction celebrates the unique landscape of Beaumaris Bay, intertwining my personal ties with the region and my artistic exploration. Through 'Elevated Elegance,' I aim to evoke a sense of connection to Beaumaris and honour its significance in both my memories and artistic expression."
