Mixed mediums on deep edge canvas

Using mixed mediums alongside a range of mark making tools as well as stencils, palette knives and brushes “Flight of Passage” is about accepting directions whilst still choosing your flight path. The structure in this piece provides a darker background palette contrasting with the rainbow of colour at the surface, creating depth and allowing the colours to almost float to the surface. Metallic highlights and shadows of other colours are an interpretation of acceptance creating beauty when one focuses on their overall life choices.
