"Primordial is inspired by the four Primordial Deities in Greek Mythology: Chaos, Gaia, Tartaus and Eros. The ancient Greek cosmogony begins with Chaos, the voice or nothing from which everything originates; Gaia the Earth representing stability and foundation; Tartarus, the deep abyss and underworld and Eros, the force of love and attraction that brought entities together. I love the idea that from nothing comes everything in the creative process. That the forces of attraction and love bring things together in the act of creation which undergoes cycles of death and life represented through Tartaus and Gaia. Primordial is ultimately a mediation, working with and lesson in trusting the power, primal instinct and energy of the creation we're part of while we're here."
