Hi, I'm Anne-Maree

I am a colourful abstract artist focusing on the beauty in nature of the world through my eyes.  I’m inspired by what I see in the world around me…colourful flowers, weeping trees, winding garden paths and rugged coastal walks. It’s the shift in the season that intrigues me, I notice changes in light, colour and shadow across the landscape. My brush traces my steps through a space recreating a journey along a path noting the sensation of movement through gestural brushstrokes…it’s an immersive experience translated through the artist’s mark on the canvas.
