Rachelle Holowko is a Melbourne-based artist who has recently transitioned from digital surface pattern design to painting. After years of creating designs on screen, she was drawn to the immediacy and tactile joy of working with paint on canvas. From her home studio, Rachelle explores expressive interpretations of the Australian landscape and her surroundings, often inspired by nature, colour, and familiar places that feel alive. Her background in textile design influences her sense of composition and pattern, while painting allows her to work more intuitively, embracing a freer, spontaneous approach that continues to evolve with her practice.
