Hello! My name is Siena Carusi and I'm an abstract visual artist based in Melbourne/Naarm Australia. The majority of my work consists of colourful, abstract mixed media paintings and drawings. I often utilise 2D mediums such as acrylic, watercolour and ink. For the duo piece “The World” I was reflecting on a period of my life where I suffered with intense anxiety. Physically leaving my home was a constant battle as I often feared that I would not be able to cope with my anxiety attacks. Slowly yet surely I was able to learn to let go of the need to control everything and let myself be comfortable in the uncomfortable. Learning these lessons opened up many new possibilities that I would have once missed out on if I had not taken that leap and embraced what the world has to offer.
